Watch our stream tables in action. These are some of our favorite videos.
Videos from Emriver Users
Videos from Emriver users are available as a playlist on YouTube. We love to see people using our models around the world. If you have a video that you would like to see on our channel, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our unique modeling media provides remarkable visualization of sediment transport processes and enhances research in sedimentology and stratigraphy. The media is made of recycled, ground melamine plastic and is about 60 percent the density of quartz sand (1.6 g/cc). We offer two types of media: Non Color-Coded and Color-Coded by Size. Color-coding allows for visualization of sediment transport and deposition according to grain size.
The Emriver Em4 stream table is a robust, modular geomorphological research system capable of simulating floodplains, deltas, groundwater processes, and sediment transport. The Em4 can be upgraded with a tilting base to allow for rapid changes in river valley slope and flow velocity, which expand the capabilities of our models, allowing study of tectonic controls on river form, sedimentology, and delta geomorphology.
The Emriver Em3 stream table is a modular and portable system perfect for research and teaching of river dynamic principles. The Em3 can be upgraded with a tilting base to allow for rapid changes in river valley slope and flow velocity, which expand the capabilities of our models, allowing study of tectonic controls on river form, sedimentology, and delta geomorphology.
The Emriver Em2 stream table is perfect for demonstrating river science and conservation principles to audiences of all ages and educational backgrounds. This model is optimized for ease of setup, use and portability.
The Emflume1 is a turnkey desktop open channel flume for demonstrating fluid mechanics, river habitat hydraulics,
and sediment transport. Its portability makes it easy to use in a lab or classroom setting.
