Our unique modeling media provides remarkable visualization of sediment transport processes and enhances research in sedimentology and stratigraphy. The media is made of recycled, ground melamine plastic and is about 60 percent the density of quartz sand (1.6 g/cc). We offer two types of media: Non Color-Coded and Color-Coded by Size. Color-coding allows for visualization of sediment transport and deposition according to grain size.
